Since being appointed Minister Abdiweli Mudey who is famous within members of parliament of collecting bribes during parliamentary sessions, started threats to dismiss employees of Labour Ministry who are now working in conditions of fear and future uncertainty.
Reliable sources at Ministry of Labour said that Abdiweli Mudey is going to sack in coming days some 8 senior workers in his ministry including director General Aweys Sheekh Hadad.
Abdiweli Mudey is bringing in the ministry people who are his neighbours, clan associates and persons sent by someone who gave him a lot of money in exchange of using Ministry of Labour for cover up. Persons Mudey is trying to appoint for higher positions at Ministry are named Hussein Hashi and Nadif who are aspiring to be Permanent Secretary, Director General or director of division at the Ministry.
Minister wants to sack illegally some Directors such as Abdisaaq Macalin Ilmi, Salaad Abdule and Saiid Aadan Mire (Saiid Kontener) whom Mudey believes he can sack without consulting prime minister.
So as to employ new employees and sack current employees Mudey aims to sack director of labour Abdisaaq Macalin Ilmi and head of finance Saiid Aadan Mire (Saiid Kontener) so he can easily remove employees, recruit new employees and can have access to salaries of those he replaced.
Just last week Abdiweli Mudey dismissed from their employment three workers who were sent by Ministry of Labour for education outside country, because Mudey is taking advantage from their absence.
Minister of Labour ordered administration of Ministry not to provide fuel for vehicle of Director General Aweys Hadaad. Following this development Aweys went to Minister Mudey’s house to complain about refusal of fuel for his car but Mudey ordered Aweys to get out from his house before Director General even talked about his problem.

Western Intelligence Agencies Oppose the Democratization of Somalia Intelligence Services (NISA) History documents the strong character of the Somali people associated with messy democratic rule that cherishes individual liberty, freedom of expression and opinion, Justice, and private entrepreneurship rather than with autocratic rule. British explorer, Sir Richard Burton wrote in 1856, "the Somalis are fierce race of republicans, constantly changing political loyalties – the Somalis lived in what amounted to a state of chronic, political schizophrenia, verging on of anarchy. Every freeborn man holds equal to his ruler and allows no loyalties or prerogatives to abridge his birthright of liberty." However, Somalis are docile to discipline and obedience if social mediation applied fairly. The appropriate model of government for Somalia is the democratic rule. Full Article
