Waagacusub.net- The commanders of the police and security General Abdikariim Dahir Saacid and General BashiirAhmed Jaama' (Bashiir Goobe) NISA chief are due to resign in the next few hours. That is according to credible sources. They were due to resign before 2:00 PM local time, a time when it was anticipated the president to come back to the country from South Africa where he went to take part in the swearing in of South Africa’s incumbent president Jacob Zuma for another term in office. Credible sources say if they failed to resign at that given time, the president would issue a decree that is dismissing them.

Last night, the then Minister for National Security Abdikariim Hussein Guuleed resigned after Alshabaab attacked the parliament building yesterday.
