The Somali Government fell into the hands of a small sect group who run the state house as if it is a nongovernmental organization. The Somali People were expecting the current government to apply the principles of democracy and bring the government close to the people by delivering services such as establishing reliable security, creating jobs, providing equal opportunity for justice, education, and jobs for everyone, assisting cities and towns in establishing their own public administrations, protecting the respect of human rights and freedom of press, building public trust through transparency, accountability, and fighting corruption, mismanagement, and abuse of power. The current regime in Somalia has not been successful in meeting the needs of its people and sooner or later will fall down tragically.
In addition, a few neighboring and Middle Eastern countries are making great efforts to worsen the chaos in the country by directing their Somali collaborators in wrong, diverging directions. The neighboring countries are supporting a chosen clan to rule the client states close to their borders and have manipulated local elections to elect their collaborative regional heads. Those heads are selected through their clan dominance and their cooperative loyalty with the mentoring neighboring country. Those Somali regional leaders are in a constant conflict with one another because their motivating ideology is to apply the rule of clan which is very divisive and ambitiously striving to secession. The Middle Eastern countries created many varying religious factions with radical views and facilitated them to dominate the country politically, financially, and socially. No one of these religious factions is willing to share resources or want to reconcile with others, but each struggle to dominate in coercive means. The aim of those African and Arab countries is to create endless chaos and successive leadership changes with no success.
The Somali People's Party sees that the current regime is making elusive plans of deceiving the public and international community regarding the upcoming elections in 2016. They set up plots by composing an independent electoral commission and making laws that regulate political parties. These will serve them to appoint their associates in the commission and legalize political parties that are making a partnership with them. Such an electoral plan is an insult to the rights of Somali people who are eager to have an open, transparent, and fully participatory political process. Fake and fradulent democracy are sources of destabilization and conflict to the peace and stability in Somalia.
Turning a blind eye to the current abusive regime in Somalia that fell short of its public commitments will further exasperate the gleam of hope in the minds and hearts of Somali people. The civil right abusers in Somalia are fully aware of the policies of foreign interests including the war on terror and they clearly understand how to easily compromise to foreign interest demands. Their aim is to get recognition for exchange of their full support and loyal services to earn a free credit from international community to aid money and to be protected liabilities against crimes committed. It is deeply troubling that the international community lead by the UN to remain fully as a spectator to the harassment of independent media, architecting secret manipulations to buy votes and stealing elections, and keep promoting chaotic situations that create an unfavorable environment not conductive to free and fair elections.
The Somali People's Party is a new political organization that is deeply concerned about upcoming staged elections in Somalia and mockery institutions that are not fairly working to serve the best interest of the people. We are also disappointed about certain nations that are taking advantage of the precarious political or leadership situation in Somalia and putting themselves in a position to commit an act of political aggression to the sovereignty of the Somali nation. Somalia and the international community share common interests to the believes and benefits of global and regional stability based on peace and good governance. In addition, both aspire for freedom, respect of civil rights, protection of personal rights of land tenure, and secure private property ownership. We ask the international community to assist our party to have the opportunity to challenge undemocratic, corrupt leadership in Somalia. The Somali People's Party is unable to distinguish to define practical differences between the current regime and the armed religious opposition group. In the best view of our understanding, fusion in the form of osmosis is taking place between the two factions. They influence one another in views, information, and strategies so they appear inseparable in their armed forces, tyrannical approach to civilians, and the secrecy of their financial revenues.
Besides that, the Somali People's Party is appealing to the international community to abandon their policy of wait and see approach towards Somalia and change their negative attitude of Somalia due to the persisting anarchy in the country. Somalia needs an honest intervention from the international community to bring Somalia back to stability, peace, and into a fully partnership with world community. Somalia is currently in unpredictable circumstances and needs the helping hand of a true, goodwill partnership from the international community. The current Somali regime, UN and AMISOM are making the deteriorating current situation prolong to a degree of desperation and hopelessness. The early warning of such mounting despair can predict results that produce to cultivate favorable conditions for more chaotic Islamic uprisings in diversified directions. The cost of reversing the situations created by such contradicting revolts will be much greater than it needs now. Before it's too late proliferating instability in the region, Somalia wants concrete support that uplifts it and its people from poverty, anarchy, secession, and autocracy. The Somali People's Party wants to participate upon improving the current situation in Somalia and willing to help contributing the country going into the right direction. The Somali People's Party is striving to make an effective participation in the political process of the country and to promote Somalia to become a democratic nation.
