For decades, Dahir Alasow built a reputation as one of Somalia’s most influential investigative journalists, known for exposing corruption, terrorism financing networks, piracy operations, and human rights violations. However, in recent years he has increasingly focused on humanitarian work aimed at supporting vulnerable communities across Somalia and beyond.
Through the Alasow Foundation, numerous humanitarian programs have been launched, including:
