Mr Osoble is one of the Al-Shabaab and Hizbul Islam financier during Sharif Sheikh Ahmed tenure (2009–2012). According to an investigation of his accounts in Mogadishu, he continues to finance Al-Shabaab militants.

He further said If they come they will be respected and get their seats, but if they show disrespect to me -as they did to Hawiye elders- and put their nose up in the sky while I am their President then they will reap what they sow.
Abgal tribe will shock when they hear the inauguration of one of their clansmen as the president of the Hiran and middle Shabelle forcefully because the President of Somali Federal Government, Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu are all hail from their clan.
