De Waagacusub Media heeft ten doel:

       het verrichten van (journalistiek) onderzoek naar- en het bevorderen van de informatieverschaffing in binnen- en buitenland door journalisten omtrent de politieke ontwikkelingen in Somalië en het door (overheids)instellingen, organisaties en bedrijven gevoerde beleid, en voorts al hetgeen met een en ander rechtstreeks of zijdelings verband houdt of daartoe bevorderlijk kan zijn, alles in de ruimste zin des woords.

2.   De stichting tracht haar doel te verwezenlijken onder meer door het organiseren van informatieve bijeenkomsten en het publiceren van informatie via website, brochures op internet en pamfletten, het samenwerken met andere soortgelijke organisaties in binnen- en buitenland en overigens met gebruikmaking van alle wettige middelen.

Kenya to Reopen Border With Somalia

NAIROBI — The Kenyan government says it will open the border with Somalia to boost trade and allow the flow of people between the two countries. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta also pledged to help Somalia in the fight against al-Shabab militants and support and train government workers.
