    ONLF attacks Alleelo, An Oil Systemic study Field in Ogaden

    An Independence movement, Ogaden National Liberation Front, has attacked Aleela, a small village in Godey province, about 40 kilometers of Gode early morning of Thursday .An independent source in Godey has confirmed the attack to Ogadentoday Press .T

An Independence movement, Ogaden National Liberation Front, has attacked Aleela, a small village in Godey province, about 40 kilometers of Gode early morning of Thursday .An independent source in Godey has confirmed the attack to Ogadentoday Press .The source added that ONLF has killed 8 Ethiopian Troops at the base of an oil study In Ogaden and lost 2 of its fighters.

The source based in Godey added that ONLF also attacked Hadhawe, a village located on the road to Godey and a Military mobilization is reported in the area.

There is no comment from the Government of Ethiopia and regional administration.

Ethiopia government has conducted several times a study of Oil in the area meanwhile the ONLF has warned foreign companies interesting to explore oil in Ogaden several times and attacked in April 2007 ,a Chinese oil company in Ogaden killing 74 Ethiopian Troops including the workers

Locals say that more than 200 Ethiopian Troops have been killed on that operation.

A public study shows that the civilian population in Ogaden are unhappy the foreign oil explorations in Ogaden until a political solution are reached between ONLF and Ethiopian regime fearing their security concerns since the government of Ethiopia has burned several villages that accused of supporting the rebel group in Ogaden.

A shuttle diplomacy between Ethiopian government and ONLF has been reported after the peace negations between the two sides stalled in Kenya 2012.

In 2007, Ethiopia crackdown against insurgent of ONLF, Ogaden National Liberation Front, a group fighting for self-determination of Ogaden region has left thousands of Ogaden civilians who are mainly women and children.

Ethiopia government refuses the wide accusations against its mistreatment of civilians in Ogaden region.

Media and aid agencies t are banned in the Ogaden region and that is why the conflict in Ogaden is not getting international attention.

The past few days the region has seen an increase in heavy fighting.

Since 2005, Ethiopia government isolated Ogaden region from the World, Ethiopia imposed a ban all international aid and media organizations in Ogaden despite some are operating under the permit of intelligence surveillances.

Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) fighting for the self-determination of Ogaden Region in Ethiopia since 1994.
