Assistant Minister for the Ministry of Social Services, Mohamud Maalim Yahye who was among a government delegation visiting the town has stated that the medicine was intended for the victims of Tuesday’s devastating Al Shabaab attack.
17 of those injured on the attack on Tuesday are currently being treated in the hospital.
Ahmed Mohamed Khalif, the general manager of the hospital thanked the government for supplying the medice in which he said was greatly needed.
