    Somalia's Supreme judge accuses the federal Gov't for ignoring to provide security for court officials

    Waagacusub.net - a meeting was today held in Mogadishu by Somalia's judicial committee chaired by the country's supreme judge justice Aydid Abdullahi Ilkahanaf to address the security threats faced by Somalia's judicial officials.

Waagacusub.net - a meeting was today held in Mogadishu by Somalia's judicial committee chaired by the country's supreme judge justice Aydid Abdullahi Ilkahanaf to address the security threats faced by Somalia's judicial officials.

after the meeting, Mr. Aydid addressed the media whereby he accused the federal government for ignoring to provide security for court officials in the country.
the accusation follows after yesterday’s killing of Yaqshid district judge by unknown gunmen.
During the meeting, prominent members of Somalia’s judicial commission addressed the importance of protecting court officials who usually deal with crime cases and solving other cases involving different parties.
” the Government has never arrested the culprits behind the murder of Judges and court officials either in Mogadishu or other parts of Mogadishu” said Ilkahanaf during the press conference.
court officials in Somalia have become prime targets by unknown gunmen for the past one year with the latest incident occurring in Banadir’s Yaqshid district.
