Somali communities around the World are congratulating each other after hearing the news of filing a lawsuit against Dahabshiil money transfer Company, who allegedly help fund the assassination of a politician and a folk singer, Saado Ali Warsame, in a New York court.

Warsame, 58, was shot and killed by Al-Shabaab terrorists in Mogadishu, Somalia, in July 2014. 

Her son, Harbi Hussein, who was born in New York but now lives in Minnesota, filed the case in Manhattan Federal court last week against Dahabshiil, which most of its clients withdraw their money follow distrusted and its involvements of politics and terrorism.

Somali Interior Minister Abdurahman Odowaa was among those politicians immediately welcomed the news about the legal fight against the Bank that most Somalis have been battling to bring an end or reduce the ability of Al-Shabaab to fund itself through Dahabshiil Bank. 

" Somali Communities around the World withdrew their bank accounts from Dahabshiil because it pursue illegitimate strategies,"  the Minister said.  

Many Somalis are eagerly waiting the court decision as conviction will likely be relieve to many people specially the family of the U.S citizen Warsame and those had been traumatized by the company.

Warsame wrote a song "Dhiigshiil" which roughly translated the blood smelter. The song attracted the title " Don't do business with the blood smelter" and can be found on YouTube.
