    Ethiopia; ADRA-Yemen Welcomes the New Year with its 4th Anniversary Celebration ,Refugees participate

    Waagacusub.net- UN Refugee agency's partner of ADRA-Yemen celebrated its 4th Anniversary at the "Center of Cultural" in Sana'a,Yemen, on Tuesday afternoon that started from 4:00pm and ended in right before the New Year's Eve.

Waagacusub.net- UN Refugee agency's partner of ADRA-Yemen celebrated its 4th Anniversary at the "Center of Cultural" in Sana'a,Yemen, on Tuesday afternoon that started from 4:00pm and ended in right before the New Year's Eve.

Members from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA-Yemen) organized the celebration that participated in more than one hundred Refugees from different parts of Eastern Africa namely: Eritrean Refugees,Somali Refugees,Oromo Refugees,and Somalis from Ogaden Refugees that sang songs and displayed their traditional dancing in front of chanting crowds.

This Celebration comes just a couple of weeks after a dozens of English teachers,Computer trainees,Advanced English Students completed their courses that provided by ADRA-Yemen in conjunction with AMIDEAST.

The celebration that chaired by ADRA's project manager,Ahmed Sallam, began with recitation of the holy book of Qur'an, specially selected verses from Surat An-Nas or "Mankind" that touched upon the celebration's agenda and created the right psychological environment.

The International Non-governmental Organization of ADRA briefed its humanitarian work in different countries in the World.

"Thank you Community leaders,without you this could not happen.Our humanitarian work of helping the refugees and capacity-building of the hosting nations are not limited in Yemen,we work in Iraq,Jordan, Syria and many other countries",said Cyanne Becker,ADRA'S English Language Coordinator.

Participants watched two-and half-hours filmed document of the ADRA's 2013 activities ,which a graduated Arabic speaking student claimed an immensely successful for achieving knowledge and certificate that can help him for a job opportunity.

At the stage,an interesting short humorous play was performed by three people:a man pretending as a member from Immigration office that constantly complaining about the language and cultural barrier between him and Somali speaking man and woman that acting as new refugee arrivals that have no idea how to get refugee statues determination (RSD).

Finally, Officials from ADRA contributed certificates of Appreciation to several member partners and representatives from AMIDEAST.

As the Agency's website stateswww.adra.org/The Internationally recognized non-governmental organization works in more than 120 countries around the globe.And assists those in need without regard to ethnic, political or religious affiliation.
