The container, which belonged to a company named PIL . was reportedly from China and heading to Dahabshil Money Transfer agency in Mogadishu, But UAE's security services said that the ship is theirs.
" When we intercepted the container which a company called PIL sent from CHINA, the administration of Dahabshil Money Transfer in Mogadishu immediately contacted us and claimed that it was directing to them, but we demanded that we cannot release without legal document" , The Minister of Security, Ereg told the Waagacusub Media.
Dahabshil Money Transfer Agency has refused to bring a legal document of claiming the property but it will get in terrible as we have full evidence against it", The Minister added.
The Commander of the National Intelligence and Security Agency of Somalia confirmed that the explosive devices and the suicide vests were sponsored by the Hawala Company. He said documents written on the container suggests that the explosive devices including mines, Uniforms and Army boots belong to the Hawala Company as it reads, " PIL Agent of Dahabshil ".
Mr. Tuuryare suspects that the mines were loaded from Somaliland's seaport of Berbera and was intended to jeopardize the fragile peace gained by Internationally- backed forces .
Experts believe that the company will offer several millions of dollars to silence the case but this incident proved how the Dahabshil Company involves in the destruction and insecurity in the Southern part of Somalia, mainly the Capital city of Mogadishu.
Somaliland administration believes that its Independence solely depends on as long as the insecurity of Southern Somalia continues.
The Somali Security forces are closely investigating whether the container was directing to Al-Shabaab or not but if it clears that it is being directed to Shabaab many Somali victims, survivors and or their families will revenge against Dahabshiil Money Transfer Company. However, actions of Somaliland officials and its richest ones indicate that they declared an open enmity on Somali people in the South.
