The officials are from a same tribe, Daud Abgal' and have been critics for the President's policy towards Somali nation. Abshir Hassan Adow, Mayor of Jazira district is among of the jailed officials. Mr. Adow hails from Daud-Abgal's sub clan of Irole Muse .
The Mayor was one of the Omar Finish's officials, a known opposition figure and influential man that constantly criticizes the government's injustice against Somali nationals. His arrest is said to be related to his boss's stance on the government's ill-advised policy.
The President put a condition on their release, of course to convince their boss Omar Finish to quit opposing the government's policy, a condition that they reportedly rejected to agree with.
Experts say President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud is the worst dictator in the Somali history that have ever run the office of presidency. His recent unwise decisions towards Sweden and Yemen are widely criticized by millions of Somalis.
According to attached documents ,Mr. Adow was a legitimate mayor and his sentence is regarded as politically motivated one. Adow was not involved in any thing rather than protecting the Somali nation against the terror group of Al-Shabaab.
