Dahabshiil lawyers wrote to Sunatimes.com hosting company Bluehost and they instructed them to put off air,Wednesday 27 October, 2010 time shut down from 11:06-0600 however Bluehost reinstated service later.

Dahabshiil succeeded to shut down Sunatimes again on 13thof December 2010 17.34-0700.

Owner of Waagacusub Media who received refugee asylum from Netherlands lost education opportunities due to the fear you created. A person claiming to be part of Dahabshiil threatened Alasow on the phone, and mentioned that he is going to receive $100,000 when he kills the journalist. Apart from that, there was a lawsuit filed by Dahabshiil Group Manager Mr. Abdirashiid Duale with a court in Breda, but has been nullified by the same court on 08/02/2011. The court has again nullified an appeal taken by Dahabshiil.

The man who claimed to be sent by your company to kill the journalist was involved attempt of murder, at least twice, he attacked physically with punches at the Breda Central Station, and once attacked with knife. The man has been apprehended by the police, and has been subsequently found guilty and sentenced by a court of law. All these events were documented by the police and the court, and I hereby attach here their copies.

Dahabshiil Group paid some vicious circles in Somalia to hunt down the chief editor of sunatimes.com Mr Abdisalam Abdulle Yusuf, fortunately he was tipped off and he fled from Mogadishu, Somalia. Dahabshiil had once again shut down Sunatimes.com on 17 March 2011, 12:05-0600—this led sunatimes.com moving their hosting service to another company called Ileystech Company.

Again, Dahabshiil let up their campaign against Sunatimes.com and their lawyers wrote to Ileystech co by informing them that sunatimes.com violated copyrights, they demanded that article be removed from the website or else they would hold the hosting company responsible. That article related to the failed lawsuit that Dahabshiil brought against the Somali journalists.See attached letter of Bird and Bird LLP.

Ileystech closed the sunatimes.com website after the big Acenet Inc threatened to shut down its Server ,Anyone, who reads the Dahabshiil lawsuits could see that they are at war with Somali independent media. To our astonishments was that Dahabshiil demanded on their letter to remove two contents on Sunatimes’website. One content related to a song sang by famous Somali artist: Sada Ali Warsame. The song named Dhiigshiil, which she puts nice lyrics with beautiful voice to outline the ill intentions of Dahabshiil including their support of terror and lawlessness in Somalia. The other was an article about the court decision at Breda. The harassment and suppression of Dahabshiil Remittance Company have not only touched Sunatimes.com but another 37 Somali media outlets had issued press release to protest Dahabshiil’s continuous threats against Somali Independent Media

Your company’s manager, your son Mr. Abdirashid Duale, has changed his law firm to Bird & Bird law firm, who continued the lawsuit against Dahir Alasow. The intimidation and the lawsuit resulted Mr. Alasow not to go to Kapabel School where he was studying. During the period of the lawsuit, gunmen from Dahabshiil Mogadishu abducted director of Waagacusub Media office in Mogadishu Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Ali.

The beheaded body of Journalist Abdirahman Mohamed Ali, 25, was found in a street in Mogadishu on 27 September 2012. The journalist, a reporter for Waagacusub Media, had been abducted one day earlier.

Mr Abdirahman was with his pregnant wife and another person, and are testifying that the people they’ve witnessed were the security personnel of the company. A day after the body of the director was found, on 28 September 2012 an armed men From Dahabshiil shot and killed Sunatimes.com Editor in Chief Abdullahi Abdi Fanah, in Mogadishu.

During the period of the lawsuit, Dahabshiil lawyers wrote to youtube, and managed to remove a song named Dhiigshiil ha dhigan which its copyright belongs to Waagacusub Media. The singer, Saado Ali Warsame, who later became a member of parliament in Somalia wrote a duly signed letter to the high court of Denbosch on 17/03/2013, asking the court to penalize Dahabshiil Group financially for the period the song has been removed due to loss of income from Youtube partners Revenue of Google Adsense abdvertisment.

Representatives you delegated, namely Farhan Haji Ali, and king Osman Burmadow, and elders representing Dahir Alasow, namely Abdu Ali Hersi and Abdifatah Ahmed signed an agreement which you never objected in Kampala on 16 September 2013, after you sent a letter about the above mentioned persons representation on you, as the owner of Dahabshiil Mohamed Said Duale.

Kampala Agreement has been violated by your company’s manager Abdirashid Duale who continued the lawsuit that you accepted to discontinue, in which your representative have duly signed.

Singer and MP Saada Ali Warsame who wrote to Denbosch high court, who was also a member of Waagacusub board, has been assassinated in Mogadishu on 23/07/2014. We have evidence of the murderer who concealed his face and has been apprehended by the Somali intelligence forces, who admitted that he was given the murder instruction of Sada Ali by people from your company. Here are excerpt of the interview with him.

A- I was with Al Shabab for a year.

Q- Who inspired you to join Al Shabab?

Q- Did he say to you go and join Al-Shabab, or did he say to you go and kill people?

A- He sent me to kill specific people, and the most important one was the woman I killed, Saada Ali Warsame. He said that she endangered Dahabshiil.

Q- How he said she endangered Dahabshiil?

A- You are even aware that she sang a song against the company.

Q- What did he offer to you?

A- He brought me 10,000 USD from Dahabshiil.

Q- Are there any other people from Dahabshiil who contacted with you?

A- Days before I carried out the murder, I received a call from UAE a son of the owner of Dahabshiil by the name Said Mohamed Said Duale.

Q- Did he send money to you?

A- He sent me 13.000 USD.

Q- Who else did he send money to?

A- A partner who was part of the murder operation.

Q- Who was that partner?

A- His name is M. M. Faruur, he is also from Habar je’lo sub-clan, his alias within Al Shabab is Abdiweli, he used to contact us from Bulo Mareer.

Q- Were you sent to kill just Saada alone?

A- I’ve managed to kill two people, and have the identities of six others whom I could not kill.

Q- What is the name of the other person you killed?

A- SILENCE

Q- Who else do you know about the murder partners?

A- Partners were six people who kept us an eye, the driver, and two armed men with AK 47, and BKM machine gun.

Q- What is the name of the driver?

A- Shuaib. His alias is Ali.

Q-Would it be possible for you to tell us the name of the man, who equipped with BKM and conducted with you the political assassination of Saado Ali Warsame?

A- A man introduced me his name as Isse and from Holland.

Q- Which tribe he was belong to?

A- He is from Habar Jeclo sub-clan of Ba'ido

Having presented the above evidence of the murder of Saado Ali, Mr Mohamed Said Duale, you are the owner of the mighty Dahabshiil company which is a well known company throughout the world, you are the owner of the company that inflicted the pain I’ve mentioned, I therefore ask you to mention the date that is convenient for you, so that we go to the justice, in order to proceed the lawsuit of the above-mentioned criminal events. I believe you are now convinced to face the justice, but I will not accept for you to send your son or someone else on your behalf. Once again I ask you to let let me know the convenient date for you .
