ASOJ chairman Dahir Alasow advised the minister to honor the labour rights, and uphold media freedom. "Despite my joy toward the appointment of Minister Dhuhulow, I’d like to see him working on completion of the National Media Council, and controversial draft Media Law, and make sure that its process is all-inclusive” said Mr. Alasow.
Chairman Alasow urged the minister and his deputy to set a committee whose task is to follow up on the assassination of media workers and the reason security institutions are silent about it. He also urged all the media organizations to work with the new Information Minister.
