Waagacusub.net - Shabelle Media Network is absolutly shocked at the quote in CPJ press release from the director of communication to the Somali president, Malik Abadalla, who blind fully has defended the government's action of vandalizing Shabelle's Radio and TV equipments.

”Malik Abdalla is clearly employed to defend and speak in the interest of the Somali government but that doesn’t mean that he should lie. Somali security damaged the equipments of Shabelle and there witnesses to that. Mr. Malik Abdalla must be out of touch of the reality. Shabelle has brought along three members of the Somali parliament to see the damage even before the items have taken out from the former headquarters of Shabelle which is still held by government forces so facts are easy to find when they are real,,

It was only known before that Abdirahman Yarisow, another adviser of the president and once the information minister under Shiekh Sharif president, was a very enthusiast in falsifying everything in defense of the government when state related issues are raised and criticized but Mr. Malik who is not so familiar in the Somali media, seems to be join in oppression of the free media in Somalia.
