    Somalia:President Hassan's Party To Launch a New TV Channel

    Waagacusub.net- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's party of Damul Jadiid is planning to launch a party owned TV channel amid to air programs helpful to the interests of the group, according to sources obtained Waagacusub Media.

Waagacusub.net- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's party of Damul Jadiid is planning to launch a party owned TV channel amid to air programs helpful to the interests of the group, according to sources obtained Waagacusub Media.

The television station will be set up in Mogadishu within few months to help the group's propaganda and lies spread around the globe.

Damul Jadid opened a site named http://www.hornconnect.com/  costing 1.5 million United States Dollars  before, which was linked to TV-Satellites amid to cover the news for the elections.

According to the source, the channel will be named Horn Connect TV the name is derived from Horn Connect Media, which  President Hassan's ideologically close friends : Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir Mohamed,  Abdikarim Hussein Guled , and his kinsman Fahad Yassin  are the largest shareholders of the TV Channel. 

An official at Somalia's Ministry of information said even though it was intended being a neutral in campaigns, clearly giving the projects for this TV Channel means favoring the group's candidates. 

The group of the President wants to use the Horn Connect TV its campaign during the 2016 election in a bid to seek trust after wide-spread allegations of corruption, terror funding and privation of national funds.   

The Group of Damul Jadid, the two Arabic words-ordinarily meaning  "new blood" is a splinter group of Al-Islah) Islamic group of Muslim Brother that  have been ruling Somalia since 10 September 2012.
