Ambassador Fiqi is a candidate that has a large popular support in the central regions and he is likely to travel through regions and districts in the central Somalia including Hobyo , Adado,
Galkayo , Galinsoor, Banderadley, Herale , Abudwak , Guri'el and Dhusamareb as soon as
he announces for his running of the presidential post .
Mr. Fiqi is receiving pressure from the local people that want him to be their regional president but President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's Islamic group of Dammul Jadeed, which is unhappy about his candidacy started a political war against Fiqi for his constant security critics of the FGS .
The Former NISA Director enrolled in a Ph.D program in information security at a college in Turkey and he restored the peace at Mogadishu and many parts of Somalia at large during his security service .
