Waagacusub.net - Chairman Muse Bihi Abdi is one of the very few surviving SNM high ranking officials, who fought during the course of the armed struggle of Somali National Movement directed at the ouster of the despotic regime of Siad Bare of Somalia.

This short piece, we are going to analyses the personality and the background of the presidential candidate and chairman of the ruling Kulmiye party of Somaliland Mr Muse Bihi Abdi. And his narrowing chance of being a president in Somaliland. Mr. Abdi has a military background and has no enough money to run for the presidency but he relies on Businessman Mohamed Aw Said, who his cable business never reached beyond Hargeisa, Borama, and Gabiley. He is running against Mohamed Bihi Yonis, who is a PhD holder and someone who has expertise in terms of dealing with the international agencies such as the United Nations and has a lot of money in Ivory Cost. But:

  • Muse Bihi participated in the civil war between Garhajis and Egal administration of Somaliland
  • Muse Bihi forcefully confiscated national land including the house he lives in and the garden of Gal-hared
  • Muse Bihi believes in the language of power and he wants to fulfill his grasping ways by means of force
  •  Somaliland administration will collapse with Muse Bihi if given a chance for the presidential post
