Mogadishu (Waagacusub.net) – Sources in the Somalia National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) and members of the parliamentary committee for the financial affairs confirmed to Waagacusub media that a Somali Lawmaker Isak Mohamed Ali aka Rino, who was assassinated April 21, 2014 was killed by the special NISA Unit called Ruhanta Brigade (Spirits), which is under the command of the Somalia minister for justice and federal affairs Farah Sheikh Abdulkader.

Rino was a key member of the parliamentary committee of finance, which prepared the motion against the unlawful National ID card project, which had never seen parliamentary approval since its start in December last year.

The Damjadid members, which run the unlawful project, with the support of Farah Abdulkader, the strongman of Dam Jadiid and his NISA unit (Ruhanta) formed a private account at Salama bank, which all people applying the ID to pay $17 in order to get the ID.

Rino was the head of the accountants of Salam bank and also Hormuud telecom and he used his authority at the bank to print out the financial statement of Damjadiid’s account at the bank and submitted it to the parliament, which stopped the ID card project after a vote of no confidence to the project, which demanded the bad attention of the Ruhanta Brigade on Rino and the other members of the Parliamentary committee.

Following the assassination of Rino, the head of Somalia’s immigration Gen. Abdulahi Gafow and the security minister Abdikarim Hussein Guled announced that the ID card project reopened regardless of the parliament’s decision to suspend it. Both the minister and Gafow are suspected of being shareholders of the project, which stole millions of dollars from the public, a time the parliament suspended the project with an overwhelming vote in 2 week time.

A private company owned by Farah Abdukadir, the shadow power horse of the presidential palace, manages the money with the private interest of the Dan Jadiid leaders, who ignored the parliamentary decision and restarted their project with the backing on the president.

Ruhanta Brigade, which works under Farah Abdulkader, assassinates any one seen opposite to the interest, and they were credited to the assassination of late MP Faysal Warsame Mohamed who was killed because of his support to the former Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon, a time the president’s Damjadid team faced political pressure from the international community.

Rino’s assassination followed by the murder of late Lawmaker Abdulaziz Isak Mursal, is enough threat to the parliament, which is still working on enforcing their decision to suspend the ID card project until the parliament issues the kind of the ID card the Somali citizens would take.

The president, who is a supporter of the project didn’t sign the parliament’s decision, which confronted the ID card, which the parliament had no involvement in its preparation, production and distribution to the citizens.
