It is not the first time that the company donated such a large account of money to the militant but it is the first time that a senior Al-Shabaab official confirmed it.
The senior official of the group said that the group will shut down the company's competitors such as Salaam Bank and soon the group will materialize its decision against the Salaam Bank's ATM.
A group of Dahabshiil Company is assigned to fulfill every contact with the militant any possible time, said Hassan Afrah , another Senior Member of the militant.
" I and other members of the militant first rejected the proposal of the shutting down the Salaam Bank's ATM since its driven by tribalism and jealousy, however, other members including Hassan Waaqle, Suldaan Mohamed Haji Hussein and the head of the group's alms MM Faruur are conducting the mission"

The group's covert operatives have already restricted the services of the Internet and Zaad Services in Mogadishu, following a request from Dahabshiil Company that faced bankruptcy over the competition of Zaad Services.
