Waagacusub.net - Waagacusub media has learned terrifying news about the involvement of a Somali cabinet member into the Jazira Hotel blasts last week. Deputy Somali defense Minister Abdirahman Kulmiye Hersi, aka Abdirahman Dhere is a member of the Somali Federal Parliament. Is his name authentic? Abdirahman Dhere joined Somali politics in 2009, from ARS (Asmara faction of Islamic courts led by former President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed). Abdirahman was sent by Emir of Al Shabab Ahmed Godane, in order to have his people in the legislative branch. Godane gave him his current name. The deputy Minister is from Somali inhabited region of Ethiopia. He hails from Shikhal Clan/Aw qudub sub-clan, but he is maternal cousin of the current Somali President. He claims to be born in Beledweyne town. He was baptized with the name Hassan Jama Hersi (Hassan Dhuh)

So as to avoid any detection, Hassan Dhuh abandoned the faction he used to belong and befriended with the infamous former speaker parliament, Sharif Hassan. This relationship made him to become former deputy minister of ports. Abdirahman Dhere (now Hassan Dhuh) facilitated many imported goods for Al Shabab at the Mogadishu port.

When the current Somali president won September 2012 election, Hassan Dhuh quickly shifted to his maternal cousin, and abandoned his political ally, Sharif Hassan. He benefited from the game he was playing. He was given several choices, but he opted for the Defense Ministry. Its widely believed that Ahmed Godane has a lot of influence of the choice. What does Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere do in the government?

He likes rumors, he tries to create conflict within the top government officials such as ministers, force commanders and so on, by telling the one he is talking to, that he is loyal to him, and wants to reveal to him about hidden information as a secret. Sometimes he creates propaganda. He is a man of different colours . He pretends to be liberal. He often chews Miraa, likes to tie the knot in every month. He gained the confidence of Dammu Jadiid (President’s secret society). He played a big role in the recent overthrow of the former Prime Minister Shirdon, by taking 1.2 Million Dollars to corrupt MPs, and bring back his former ally Sharif Hassan.

Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere passes the government secret to his boss Ahmed Godane. He created conflict between the defense minister and minister of state for defense, force commander and deputy force commander. All of them don’t work together at all, and every one of them is connected to Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere. So he is the one who links them. Weapons, ammunitions, and food are directly passed to Al Shabab. Al Shabab displays military uniform at the day they are issued. This brought mistrust towards Somali military. In the meantime, Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere tells his maternal cousin that Somali Military cannot be trusted and new forces are needed to be established. Whenever new military personnel are sent for training, Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere adds Al Shabab members in order for him to get inside information from the forces. One instance is the murder of Col. Ali Guure Afdhub, one of the top military commanders, who was murdered by a low ranking military cadet. Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere asked the president to get the killer soldier promoted.

Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere has now provided sensitive information which led Al Shabab to carry out suicide attack at the Jazira Hotel. He told his group (Al Shabab) about government individuals and VIPs who were coming to the hotel, timing of their arrival, duration of their stay, and so on.

It’s a bizarre and unacceptable to have such a person in any political arena. Hassan Dhuh/Abdirahman Dhere and his likes belong to jails if not death.
